Frameworks for admin commands have become increasingly advance and cryptic as users attempt to hide their name and develop easier to modify frameworks. Most command scripts have been associated with a username (the user that created them), and most command scripts give the creator of the command script administrative admin commands in the place that uses them. Some of the most known command scripts are listed and described below. Nowadays, HD Admin and Adonis are two of the most popular and widely used command scripts, with many other command scripts either gaining little attention or no longer being maintained.

The original widespread admin script was Person299's admin command script, which was used by many games until 2012 when Kohl's Admin Commands V2 was released. Some command scripts will also require commands to be prefixed by a symbol like the exclamation mark (!) to distinguish commands from normal chat (if the command script uses the chat to listen for commands, that is). Usually, command scripts will accept commands, some of which will also accept arguments, which will be separated from each other's and from the command using a separator character (the most commons are the space and the '/' characters). Eventually that could be expanded to include moving/rotating based on the first in the selection or another given part, and when we get the ability to use arbitrary grid sizes, CmdUtl would no longer be needed.A command script is a script allowing certain users to perform certain actions in a game by using commands which are usually given through the chat or through a GUI text box usually toggled by a hotkey. In the rotate/translate tools, it could be used to toggle between local and global space. Potentially also a neat thing would be adding another item to the move/scale/rotate handles: at the center (currently not occupied in any of those three tools), there could be a button icon to toggle between scale modes. Changing modes should change the appearance of the handles so it’s apparent what’ll happen when transforming an object. I’d be more comfortable with a dropdown/radio list similar to the one for grid size for toggling between center, uniform, and normal. I’m not sure if that’s the best behavior, but that’s what most people are used to. In CmdUtl (popular building plugin) and all its strains, there’s a mode that’s switched between to set resize behavior (from center or normal). What would you set these two new scaling modes to use?
